Organising Life According to Wita-Waya Concept
The Highlands tribes in New Guinea believe that life consists of fire and water elements in play, progressing by finding balance in both, in service for harmony to reign.
In human relationships we call "Wita" as the water element, and "Waya" as the fire element, that interacts and interplay as balancing act.
Organising Life According to the Lores
At Eloma, we follow the Customary Laws, which are derived from The Laws of Spirits and the Laws of Nature that are stipulated as our "Customary Laws."
We acknowledge the important role of Customary Laws to help human beings establish meaningful and reciprocal relationships among communities of beings.
At Eloma Gardens We Promote and Organise Rituals and Festivals
Eloma is the place for everyone to come and make gardens within the compound, to make it Eloma Gardens and join in various rituals, festivals and ceremonies carried out by clans involved with various purposes to restore and nurture inter-relationships among communities of beings individually and colletively.
